WHICH TO ME IT IS MY BABY...IT WAS THE FIRST VINTAGE TYPE WRITER I BOUGHT AND IT LOOKS LIKE THE BABY OF THE NEWEST ONE TO MY 'GARDEN' 

What I love about both of these Royals is their heavy rough metal outsides, and their probably best feature that keeps them so collectable are those beautiful glass top keys... that is where you make that statement...  "they just don't make 'em like they use too!"

Photo Shoot for Yellow Farm House Boutique Sale Nov. 10

Today me and my lovely assistant aka "super model" aka daughter Teagan... did what I like to call a photo shoot... for our Yellow Farm House Boutique  Sale ..If you follow this blog you know how I feel.. that all things have a story... vintage decor, and repurposed furniture, or art that I have painted, or anything I have refinished, tells a story, so it must have a photo shoot.... and my daughter well she is a natural, she had so many shots, planned out,  world traveler, industrial office worker, school girl, rock star...if you look close, her microphone is plugged into an apple...For 11 years old...she is right on the money, the dress she is wearing I bought her for Christmas last year, because I just fell in love with it...from Target the Gwen Stafani line...it is so retro vintage...she automatically new what to wear, and to make her lips nice and red... she has her own story to tell, she has a love for AUTHENTIC things and AUTHENTIC people... I think that is why we all search for Vintage items, or One of a Kind pieces of furniture or Art because they then belong to us, and no one else...and then I guess it makes us FEEL LIKE WE ARE VINTAGE OR ONE OF A KIND....

I love promoting art, artist, designers, and I have been promoting this one for a week, and I keep liking her stuff... her being Aimee Woffinden Maher //www.facebook.com/pages/Hip-to-be-Square/382807215133068  the first thing that attracted me to her page was the fourth picture down the yellow bird, so I liked her page, "Hip to be Square" on my personal Facebook.. last week, then today.. I saw these beautiful chandeliers that looked so french, shabby chic, and different, and then they are personalized, and she adds jewels to them!! (Jewels are for decorative effect only)  What more could a girl ask for.  So I told her, I wanted to promote her on my blog, and my facebook page... but I didn't realize that Aimee and Hip to be Square..where the same..so actually I have been her fan for awhile!!

I sand them, prime them, paint a first coat, do a stencil process, paint a different color(this way I can distress the piece and give it a unique two tone effect)  Then I add vinyl for finishing touches and spray a protective coating over it all.  I paint them anyway you like.  I like the thickness of the boards I use, so they don't need a frame.  I love making things and giving people the opportunity to add their personality and colors to their home.  Use your imagination and let me know how I can help create something unique for you!"
